The NB2500 supports High Speed Packet Access (HSPA). High Speed Packet Access is a further development of UMTS which enables higher data rates. HSPA includes HSDPA to speed up the downlink and HSUPA for the uplink.

The NB2500 NetBox Wireless Router securely and wirelessly connects two networks/sites (e.g. a local network in a vehicule with the company Intranet) via wireless networks and the Internet.
The NB2500 is an UMTS/WLAN router and enables fast and secure data transmission between two sites. UMTS based services such as High Speed Packet Access (HSPA) are supported as well as Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g.
For the establishment of Virtual Private Networks (VPN) support for major technologies (IPsec, OpenVPN, PPTP) is provided. For simple applications the use of Dynamic DNS or fixed IP addressing can replace the need of a VPN.

Multiple devices can directly be attached to the NB2500 thanks to the integrated 4 port Ethernet switch.
The router is qualified to operate within a temperature range of minus 20 to 70 degrees Celsius. The dual SIM feature guarantees best availability of network connections.

NetBox Software is based on well proven components including an Embedded Linux operating system and standard communication protocols.
Typical applications are the wireless integration of Points of Sale, ATMs, Digital Signage, building technology or land line backup/ replacement.
