SUNIX universal PCI Multi-port serial card attaches DB9 or DB25 Male RS-422/485 Serial ports on your system for industrial communication and automation applications. The 8169 card works with both 3.3V or 5V and 32-bit or 64-bit PCI Bus, allowing this multi-port serial card to be installed in virtually any available PC system and compatible with all major operating systems. Users do not need any jumper to set I/O address and IRQ location. The card supports 8 independent RS-422 or RS-485 ports, with each port transfer data up to 921.6 Kbps and able to control device in a multi-drop mode. Furthermore, isolation and surge function (optional) can protect your equipment and controller from being damaged by lightning or high potential voltage damage, especially application in critical or harsh factory environment. ARSC (Auto RTS Signal Control) technology provides the best way to make half-duplex RS-485 auto data transmission and receiving without software or writing extra code. In addition, auto identify and switch RS-422 and RS-485 technology make more convenience for users changing RS-422 and RS-485 devices without jumpers or switches setting.
